ThinkingKidsTM

A country’s future depends upon how and what its children think.

Thinkingkids is a great resource, in fact, the ultimate resource for the country to rise. Kids who think are always a source of power.

The stark fact is that most of the children do not think. They just try to remember what is taught to them. Everything is memory-based and so are all exams. What they have comprehended and understood, what they have realised and internalised, is hardly tested and properly evaluated.

The fault lies with our faulty education system. The sad fact is that we are teaching and instructing our children, but not to prepare for the complexities of the future. The talk of research, innovation, sustainable economic growth, and Nobel Prizes is plain nonsense if we fail in making our kids independent thinkers to make the right choices. The fate of our civilisation depends upon what and how our kids will think.

Rene Descartes remarked so profoundly and famously, “I think, therefore I am.”

How true!

Indeed, when we think, we exist. If we do not think, what are we? Humans are thinking creatures, as their whole life is an outcome of their thinking. We are truly independent, educated, clever, and wise when we think independently. When we do not think, we are exploited.

 History bears witness.

We need to train our children in various forms of thinking such as “Systems thinking”. Teaching systems thinking to high school students involves introducing them to the concept of interconnected systems, helping them understand how parts of a system influence one another, and fostering skills to analyze complex problems holistically.

We teach our kids so much in school, but do we teach them how to think?

This is a crucial question.

The plain truth is that we need to take urgent and immediate initiative to make our kids “Thinking Kids.”

And that is exactly what Knowledge Fountain’s unique initiative “ThinkingKidsTM”.

Cognitive Infrastructure Development Services, a division of Knowledge Fountain offers a unique age and stage appropriate training program to teach kids to think. Kids will learn various forms of thinking systematically and ably. The list of these thinking skills is given below.

The outcome – thinking kids. Kids begin to perceive the world differently and start thinking differently. In fact, this should be the key outcome of all education- making our kids independent thinkers.

Significantly, thinking is a skill and can be taught to our kids systematically. Given the prevailing educational scenario, schools and parents need to take independent and conscious initiative to train the future citizens in thinking skills. It’s the right way to prepare for the future.

Needless to say, thinking can not be left to AI.

Rightly said, “Tomorrow belongs to those who prepare for it Today. That today is NOW!

Knowledge Fountain invites schools to collaborate with its experts to train students in vital thinking skills. Rightly said that if we fail in school, we have no chance of succeeding anywhere. Make your school a “Thinking School” to prepare children for the future and the great possibilities.
