The stark fact is that most of the children do not think. They just try to remember what is taught to them. Everything is memory-based and so are all exams. What they have comprehended and understood, what they have realised and internalised, is hardly tested and properly evaluated. 

The fault lies with our faulty education system. The sad fact is that we are teaching and instructing our children, but not to prepare for the complexities of the future.
